During the Czech championship at the Brno circuit another F4 CEZ race was held as part of the Masaryk racing Days and F1 Show.
Max had another great opportunity to gain valuable experience with Tatuus T-421, certified by FIA.
Thursday
Thursday didn’t begin well, because at the end of first practice before the final straight the driver in a Formula car ahead of Max suddenly braked and Max’s car was damaged.
All ended well and after getting out of the tow truck at the depo Max commented that unfortunately this is motorsport and he didn’t understand why the driver ahead of him braked at 170 metres just as he was starting to overtake him.
Team Jenzer was ready for everything and so the mechanics started working and Max’s Tatuus F4 car was quickly repaired and he only missed one free practice.
Next 4 practices went according to plan and about setting up the car and learning the track.
Max has great opportunity from his partner teacher and test driver Jirka Jupa, who always gives him valuable know-how at races, and thus Max steadily progresses.
Friday
On Friday, the drivers used two more free practices, which Max and his team used to help their drivers adjust.
In the afternoon, official practice was held and Max did well and drove the fourth fastest time.
The mood was positive and Max focused on the next practice, which he finished in seventh.
Saturday
Saturday continued with the first race.
After a great start Max held to the top of the field and raced greatly. He finished on an amazing sixth place.
The next afternoon race was also a great experience for Max, already on used tyres. The drivers only get 6 sets for a race weekend. Max finished in seventh place.
