Czech Kart Open Vysoké Mýto II in the name of 1.4.4

Zveřejněno 28. 8. 2022

The fifth race of the 2022 season of the Czech Championship was held for the second time in Vysoké Mýto.

After the previous DKM race in Mulsen, where Max didn’t do so well, he came here to deliver.

The free practice sessions on Thursday and Friday, which were not few (twelve sessions of 10 minutes each), were marked by adjusting the karts. This went quite well and the loss to the fastest time was not too big.

Saturday’s last free practice followed by the official practice where the karts already have time sensors on them, Max was in the top ten, so there was a good mood in the team.

The timed practice session didn’t go well due to track position and Max set a twelfth time, but that wouldn’t be the Max who declared that things would be different in the race going forward!

Unbelievable what Max did!!!

Before the first final run it started to rain a lot and the mechanics were busy

to readjust the equipment after two days of dry testing.

Max started from twelfth place, that’s the sixth row and after the start no one could believe their eyes…

Max began to overtake one opponent after another. The kart went like a tram on rails and he won the race in an incredible way!

The second final run on Sunday from 12th place still on a wet track went well and Max finished in fourth place.

In the superfinal, after the totals, he started on the second row. The only disappointment for Max was that the rain had stopped and the track was dry. The mechanics again rebuilt the machinery perfectly for the conditions and Max finished in 4th place as in the previous session after some great battles!

Thanks to the mechanics for their excellent work and to our partners who even came to support Max in person. First and twice fourth place is a beautiful result and Max has the starting number 144.
