The first experience to sit in the F4 car at the circuit in Most.

Max was offered the chance to test Formula 4 car at the age of 14

As this is the dream path he wants to pursue after the OK junior class in the German DKM Championship, Czech Kart Open and European WSK Championship.

He couldn’t resist..

Under the guidance of Max’s teacher Jiri Jupa, the first test was excellent!

Max drove 2×30 minutes and both – he and his mentor had a good feeling about the first test!

The plan for the future is to test and drive as many tests as possible so that Max will slowly improve and be ready to take part in Formula 4 races

The races are held both in the Czech championship and in Europe.

Next season, during the Formula 4 tests, Max will drive another class of karts, which is a continuation of the current one and it is the OK class in the German DKM, European and World WSK.

FIA Formula 4, also called FIA F4, is a category of open-wheel racing cars designed for junior drivers.

This category was created by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) – the international approval and governing body for motorsport – as a basic category for young drivers, bridging the gap between karting and Formula 3 .

To be eligible for FIA Formula 4, a chassis must meet the FIA homologation requirements, respecting technical and commercial regulations. Four chassis manufacturers have been approved by the FIA: Tatuus, Mygale, Dome and Ligier.

To become an eligible FIA Formula 4 engine, it must meet the homologation requirements. According to the homologation requirements, the FIA Formula 4 engine must last a minimum of 10,000 km and have a maximum purchase price of €9,500.

According to the FIA Formula 4 technical regulations, only four-cylinder engines are permitted. Both normally aspirated and turbocharged engines are permitted. Power has been limited to 160 hp. Engine displacement is unlimited.

Currently, six engines are homologated for use in FIA Formula 4.

The championships are held under Formula 4 regulations and are approved by the FIA as a Formula 4 national series.

Drivers participating in these series can earn FIA Super Licence points, which are required to drive in Formula 1. To be eligible for Super Licence points, the series must run at least 5 races at a minimum of 3 circuits per FIA Appendix L.
